Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for AS400 systems to protect against cyber threats.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the overall IT infrastructure.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior security engineers and team members.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the security posture.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and align security initiatives with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on AS400 systems.
- Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with security compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or PCI DSS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex security issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Experience in a leadership or managerial role within a security team.
