Responsibility
- Conduct Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing (VAPT) to identify and mitigate security risks in systems, networks, and applications.
- Perform Risk Assessments in alignment with ISO27001, NIST, and other industry standards to evaluate security posture.
- Design and implement security hardening measures for servers, firewalls, and network infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain Security Operations (SecOps) protocols, including incident response and threat monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into development and operational workflows.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for stakeholders on security findings and remediation strategies.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to proactively enhance security measures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP, CISM) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Risk Assessment, VAPT, and Network Security.
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Wireshark, and SIEM solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO27001, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, and other security frameworks.
- Strong understanding of firewall configurations, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for security tasks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in international or remote teams is highly desirable.
