Responsibility
- Lead and oversee trading operations, including execution, risk management, and portfolio optimization.
- Develop and implement trading strategies to maximize profitability and minimize risk exposure.
- Monitor global financial markets, identify trends, and capitalize on trading opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk management, compliance, and technology, to ensure seamless trading operations.
- Analyze market data and leverage advanced analytics to inform trading decisions and strategies.
- Manage relationships with brokers, counterparties, and other financial institutions to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all trading activities.
- Mentor and guide junior traders, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in trading, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (VP or equivalent).
- Proven track record in trading financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, forex, or derivatives.
- Strong understanding of global financial markets, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in trading platforms, data analytics tools, and financial modeling software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on mentoring and development.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
