As our VP of Cloud Engineering, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions that support our global operations. Responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of Temasekās global cloud strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements.
- Architect, implement, and optimize multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) to support scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Oversee cloud governance, compliance, and risk management to ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business units, to drive cloud adoption and innovation.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team of cloud engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Monitor cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement automation and DevOps practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and trends to recommend strategic investments and improvements.
- Develop and manage cloud budgets, ensuring cost optimization and ROI for cloud investments.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (VP, Director, or equivalent).
- Proven expertise in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Strong background in cloud security, compliance, and governance (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable.
