Responsibility
- Design and implement visually appealing store layouts, window displays, and product arrangements to enhance brand image and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with the Store Team and PIC (Person in Charge) to align visual merchandising strategies with marketing campaigns and seasonal themes.
- Monitor and report on the usage of branding assets (e.g., signage, mannequins, props) across assigned store areas to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Develop and maintain a reporting system to track the effectiveness of visual merchandising initiatives, including customer feedback and sales impact.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to source, install, and maintain display materials and fixtures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in visual merchandising to propose innovative ideas.
- Train and guide store staff on visual merchandising standards, ensuring execution aligns with brand guidelines.
- Conduct regular store audits to identify opportunities for improvement in product placement, lighting, and overall aesthetics.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail design, or a related field (fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply).
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Design, Fine Arts, Fashion Merchandising, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or SketchUp (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong understanding of retail trends, color theory, and spatial design principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Creative problem-solving abilities with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by store operations.
- Portfolio showcasing previous visual merchandising or design projects (highly advantageous).
