Responsibility
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
- Add and synchronize music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance video quality.
- Incorporate graphics, subtitles, and visual effects to improve storytelling and accessibility.
- Collaborate with the creative team to align video content with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring proper formatting, resolution, and aspect ratios.
- Manage and organize video assets, including raw footage, project files, and final cuts.
- Stay updated on video editing trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Assist in brainstorming and scripting video concepts to support marketing and educational goals.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Film, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video requirements.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail, color grading, and visual storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Portfolio or samples of previous video editing work (required).
