Responsibility
- Lead proactive threat hunting operations to identify and neutralize advanced persistent threats (APTs) and emerging cyber risks.
- Develop and refine threat intelligence frameworks to enhance detection and response capabilities.
- Spearhead incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery from security breaches.
- Collaborate with global security teams to share insights, trends, and best practices for threat mitigation.
- Design and implement automated tools and scripts to streamline threat analysis and incident triage.
- Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors, and integrate findings into defensive strategies.
- Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, OSCP) are a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat hunting, incident response, or malware analysis.
- Deep understanding of cyber threat intelligence (CTI), attack frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK), and adversary tactics.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), EDR/XDR platforms, and forensic analysis.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and tool development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think like an attacker.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex threats to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in financial services, critical infrastructure, or high-security environments is highly desirable.
