Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic relationship management plans to retain and expand UOB’s portfolio of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and corporate clients in Southeast Asia.
- Lead a team of relationship managers to deliver personalized financial solutions, including investment advisory, credit facilities, and wealth preservation strategies.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying cross-selling opportunities across UOB’s suite of banking, investment, and treasury products.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Private Banking, Corporate Finance, Risk Management) to ensure seamless service delivery and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and client needs to innovate service offerings and enhance client satisfaction.
- Represent UOB at industry events, networking forums, and client engagements to strengthen brand visibility and attract new business.
- Prepare and present financial reports, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to AML, KYC, and banking compliance policies while maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in relationship management, private banking, or corporate banking, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of HNWI or corporate clients with assets under management (AUM) exceeding USD 50M.
- Strong understanding of Southeast Asian financial markets, regulatory environments, and cultural nuances in client engagement.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with fluency in English (additional Asian languages are advantageous).
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), financial modeling, and data analytics tools to drive decision-making.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity and collaboration with global teams.
- Certifications such as CFP, FRM, or Series 65/7 are highly desirable.
