Responsibility
- Oversee the end-to-end credit administration process, including loan documentation, disbursements, and repayments.
- Lead credit risk assessments and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel III, local banking laws).
- Collaborate with relationship managers, underwriters, and legal teams to structure and execute credit facilities.
- Monitor credit portfolios, identify early warning signals, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risk exposure.
- Prepare and present credit committee reports, financial analyses, and recommendations to senior management.
- Streamline credit operations by optimizing workflows, leveraging technology, and ensuring adherence to SLAs.
- Mentor and train junior credit administrators, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and adherence to best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, CPA) are a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in credit administration, risk management, or corporate banking, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of credit products (e.g., syndicated loans, trade finance, project finance) and banking regulations.
- Proven track record in managing high-value credit portfolios and mitigating financial risks.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, credit scoring, and data interpretation tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
- Familiarity with banking software (e.g., Moody’s Analytics, FICO, or similar) and ERP systems.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
