Responsibility
- Strategic Leadership: Direct global payment operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Process Optimization: Streamline payment workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve transaction speed.
- Fraud & Risk Management: Implement robust fraud detection systems and mitigate operational risks across all payment channels.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to international standards (e.g., PCI DSS, AML, KYC) and local financial regulations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with banks, fintech providers, and internal teams to integrate seamless payment solutions.
- Technology Integration: Lead the adoption of emerging payment technologies (e.g., blockchain, real-time payments, APIs).
- Performance Analytics: Monitor KPIs (e.g., transaction success rates, latency) and drive data-driven improvements.
- Team Development: Mentor and scale a high-performing operations team across global time zones.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in payment operations, banking, or fintech, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of global payment systems (e.g., SWIFT, ACH, card networks) and cross-border transactions.
- Regulatory Expertise: Familiarity with financial compliance frameworks (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, Basel III).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in payment gateways, ERP systems, and data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau).
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage multi-functional teams and influence C-level stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve complex operational challenges.
- Communication: Excellent English proficiency for global collaboration.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field; MBA or certifications (e.g., CTP, CFA) a plus.
