Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of third-party vendors to identify potential security, compliance, and operational risks.
- Evaluate vendor security controls, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Monitor and track vendor performance and compliance, providing regular reports to management.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of vendor risk management frameworks and documentation.
- Conduct due diligence reviews for new vendors, including security questionnaires and background checks.
- Stay updated on emerging risks, industry trends, and regulatory changes affecting vendor risk management.
- Support audit and compliance activities related to vendor risk management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or vendor management.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and risk management tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CISSP are a plus.
