Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability for the assigned Value Center.
- Lead and manage the Value Center's P&L, ensuring effective resource allocation, cost management, and achievement of financial targets.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, product enhancements, and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners to enhance brand reputation and business development.
- Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic adjustments and operational improvements.
- Implement robust risk management frameworks and ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in banking or financial services, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership or general management role.
- Demonstrated success in managing a P&L, achieving significant business growth, and leading large teams.
- Strong understanding of retail banking products, operations, sales strategies, and market dynamics in Malaysia.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities with a focus on results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of an organization and external stakeholders.
