Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end valuation engagements, including financial modeling, market analysis, and report preparation for diverse asset classes (e.g., businesses, real estate, intangibles).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure valuations align with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain robust valuation methodologies, incorporating quantitative and qualitative factors to enhance accuracy and defensibility.
- Present complex valuation findings to stakeholders, including senior management and clients, through clear, actionable insights and executive summaries.
- Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments to refine valuation approaches and mitigate risks.
- Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on technical skills, professional standards, and career growth within the valuation practice.
- Ensure compliance with international valuation standards (e.g., IVS, US GAAP, IFRS) and internal quality control protocols.
- Drive process improvements by leveraging technology (e.g., valuation software, data analytics tools) to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CFA, ASA, or CVA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in business valuation, financial advisory, or corporate finance, with a focus on complex asset classes.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling (DCF, market multiples, option pricing) and valuation software (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Argus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and derive strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (written and verbal) to engage global stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., tax, M&A, financial reporting) and their impact on valuation outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Remote work proficiency, including self-motivation, time management, and collaboration in virtual teams.
