Responsibility
- Oversee and maintain all utility systems including electrical, water, steam, and compressed air systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for utility equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan
- Monitor utility consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex utility system issues, coordinating with production teams to minimize disruptions
- Ensure compliance with all local and international safety regulations and environmental standards
- Manage utility-related projects from planning to execution, including system upgrades and expansions
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for utility system performance, maintenance activities, and improvement projects
- Train and mentor junior staff on proper utility system operation and maintenance procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in utilities management, preferably in food and beverage or manufacturing industries
- Strong knowledge of utility systems including HVAC, boilers, chillers, and electrical distribution
- Experience with energy management systems and sustainability initiatives
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Certification in safety management (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is a plus
