Responsibility

  • Process and manage end-to-end US payroll for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Respond to customer and internal stakeholder inquiries regarding payroll, tax deductions, benefits, and other related concerns.
  • Handle escalations efficiently, providing clear and professional resolutions to complex payroll issues.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, tax withholdings, and benefit deductions.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with other business systems.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports, summaries, and statements as required.
  • Stay updated on changes in US payroll laws, tax codes, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in US payroll processing (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in US payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paychex, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of US federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and calculations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or a related field is a plus.
