Responsibility

  • Process and administer US payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage garnishment orders, including child support, tax levies, and creditor garnishments, ensuring timely and accurate deductions.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of US payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and year-end documentation (W-2s, 1099s).
  • Assist in auditing payroll processes to identify and implement improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide exceptional support to employees regarding payroll inquiries and garnishment-related questions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with HRIS and accounting systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in US payroll administration, with a strong focus on garnishments.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday) and Microsoft Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of US payroll tax laws, wage garnishment regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with employees and stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Certification such as CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus.
