Responsibility
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including VAT, corporate taxes, and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with project managers to track project costs, revenues, and profitability.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cost accounting and project financial management is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with construction industry practices and financial management is an advantage.
