Responsibility
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, in compliance with medical standards.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, adhering to radiation protection protocols.
- Operate and maintain advanced radiography equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnostic support.
- Maintain detailed and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Follow strict infection control and hygiene protocols to uphold a sterile working environment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiography technology and best practices.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff or trainees when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or a related field (or equivalent certification).
- Valid professional license or registration as a Radiographer (local or international recognition preferred).
- Minimum of 2-5 years of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging (Senior Radiographer role may require additional experience).
- Proficient in operating radiography equipment, including X-ray, CT, and MRI machines.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, patient care, and medical ethics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with digital imaging systems (PACS) and electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
