Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service, including handling inquiries and offering product recommendations.
- Manage inventory by restocking shelves, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as needed.
- Process customer transactions and handle cash register operations with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace in accordance with health regulations.
- Label and prepare medications for distribution under pharmacist supervision.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as filing prescriptions and updating patient records.
- Educate customers on over-the-counter products and basic healthcare information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in Pharmacy Assistance is a plus.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, or customer service role is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management software is a bonus.
