Responsibility
- Assist in preparing operating theatres for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and ready.
- Support surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists during operations by providing necessary instruments and assistance.
- Monitor and maintain a clean and sterile environment in the operating theatre to prevent infections.
- Help transport patients to and from the operating theatre, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist in the post-operative care of patients, including wound dressing and monitoring vital signs.
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, equipment usage, and patient care activities.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to hospital protocols.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and stay updated with medical advancements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Nursing, Surgical Technology, or a related healthcare field.
- Previous experience in an operating theatre or surgical setting is preferred.
