Responsibility
- Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care instructions.
- Take and develop dental X-rays following all safety protocols and regulations.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment notes in digital systems.
- Schedule appointments, handle patient inquiries, and coordinate follow-up care.
- Order and inventory dental supplies, ensuring the clinic is well-stocked and operational.
- Provide chairside support, including passing instruments, mixing materials, and ensuring efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting (fresh graduates with strong internship experience are encouraged to apply).
- Proficient in dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with dental software for patient records.
- X-ray certification (if applicable) and knowledge of radiography safety standards.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
