Responsibility
- Process and manage end-to-end payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in salary disbursements, tax deductions, and benefits.
- Verify and reconcile payroll data, including timesheets, leave balances, and overtime calculations, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports (e.g., tax filings, social security contributions) in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain and update payroll records, both digital and physical, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Implement and optimize payroll processes to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance scalability.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws, tax codes, and payroll best practices to ensure full compliance.
- Generate payroll reports and analytics for management review, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. Certification in payroll (e.g., CPP, FPC) is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, preferably in a BPO, multinational, or high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, or local systems) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
- Strong understanding of Indonesian labor laws, tax regulations, and social security systems. Knowledge of international payroll is advantageous.
- Exceptional numerical accuracy and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with employees, HR, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a bonus.
