Responsibility
- Emergency Response: Rapidly respond to 911/emergency calls within strict timeframes, ensuring immediate medical attention for patients in critical condition.
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough on-scene evaluations of patients’ vital signs, injuries, and medical histories to determine appropriate care.
- Life-Saving Interventions: Administer advanced life support (ALS) or basic life support (BLS) treatments, including CPR, defibrillation, IV therapy, and medication as required.
- Stabilization & Transport: Stabilize patients for safe transport to medical facilities, monitoring their condition en route and adjusting care as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed records of patient care, treatments administered, and incident reports for medical and legal purposes.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, clean, and restock emergency vehicles and medical equipment to ensure readiness for the next call.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nurses, firefighters, and police to coordinate seamless emergency responses.
- Public Education: Participate in community outreach programs to educate the public on first aid, injury prevention, and emergency preparedness.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Paramedic License or equivalent (e.g., EMT-P, NREMT) from a recognized institution. International certifications will be evaluated for local equivalence.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience as a paramedic in emergency medical services (EMS), hospital, or clinical settings.
- Clinical Skills: Proficiency in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS), and trauma management (ITLS/PHTLS preferred).
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry patients (up to 50kg), work in confined spaces, and endure physically demanding shifts.
- Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal) is mandatory. Knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a strong plus.
- Legal Requirements: Clean criminal record and valid work permit (or eligibility to obtain one) for Indonesia.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) in high-pressure environments.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with electronic patient care reporting (ePCR) systems and GPS navigation tools.
