Responsibility
- Respond promptly to 911 and emergency calls, assessing scenes for safety and patient needs.
- Perform rapid patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and injury evaluation.
- Administer emergency medical treatments, such as CPR, wound care, oxygen therapy, and medication as required.
- Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment, including defibrillators, ventilators, and spinal immobilization devices.
- Safely extricate trapped or injured individuals from vehicles, buildings, or hazardous environments.
- Provide basic and advanced life support during patient transport to hospitals or medical facilities.
- Document detailed patient care reports and maintain accurate records for continuity of treatment.
- Collaborate with paramedics, nurses, and physicians to ensure seamless handover of patient care.
Qualifications
- Certification as an EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate, or EMT-Paramedic (or equivalent nursing license).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency medical services, nursing, or a related field.
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Strong knowledge of emergency medical protocols, trauma care, and pharmacology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver patients (up to 50 kg) and work in high-stress environments.
- Familiarity with Bali’s healthcare system and local emergency response procedures is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
