Your expertise in administration and basic Japanese proficiency (JLPT N4 or equivalent) will be key to success in this position.

Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage partnerships with local and international universities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Handle administrative tasks, including documentation, scheduling, and correspondence with stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to the Japanese team, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Act as a liaison between university partners, faculty, and internal teams to facilitate smooth collaboration.
- Organize meetings, workshops, and events related to university programs and initiatives.
- Maintain and update databases, records, and filing systems for easy retrieval and compliance.
- Assist in translating and interpreting basic Japanese-English communications as needed.
- Monitor and follow up on pending tasks, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in an academic or international cooperation setting.
- Proficiency in Japanese at least at JLPT N4 level (spoken and written).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and basic data management tools.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to handle administrative challenges.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Business, International Relations, or a related field is a plus.
