Responsibility
- Process and validate pension scheme member data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK regulations.
- Handle member inquiries, providing clear and professional responses regarding pension benefits, contributions, and entitlements.
- Prepare and distribute pension statements, annual benefit statements, and other member communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex pension-related issues and discrepancies.
- Maintain and update pension administration systems with member records, transactions, and changes.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for trustees, employers, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure all administrative tasks adhere to deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Stay updated on changes in UK pension legislation and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pension administration, preferably with UK occupational pension schemes.
- Strong understanding of UK pension regulations, including defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) schemes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data accurately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiar with pension administration software.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex pension concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., PMI, APMI, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Experience working in a global or remote team is highly desirable.
