Responsibility
- Design and develop tunneling solutions in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and constraints.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee tunneling operations, including excavation, support systems, and monitoring.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and specifications for tunneling projects.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity and durability of tunnel structures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site personnel.
- Stay updated with advancements in tunneling technology and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tunneling or underground construction projects.
- Proficiency in tunneling design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PLAXIS, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and tunneling methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
