Responsibility
- Perform full-cycle construction of industrial control panels, including mechanical preparation of enclosures (e.g., punching holes for conduits, HMIs, and other components).
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
- Install, route, and secure wiring, conduits, and cables in compliance with industry standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Assemble and wire control panel components, including relays, contactors, PLCs, and terminal blocks.
- Conduct continuity and insulation resistance tests to verify electrical integrity.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to troubleshoot and resolve wiring or assembly issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Document work progress, including as-built drawings and test reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as an Electrical Technician, Wireman, or in industrial control panel assembly.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and wire termination techniques (e.g., crimping, soldering).
- Knowledge of industrial electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, or local regulations).
- Ability to work with low and medium voltage systems (up to 480V preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 kg and work in confined or elevated spaces as needed.
- Basic English proficiency for technical communication (written and verbal).
