Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic testing on heavy vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections.
- Execute complex repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and exhaust systems.
- Test repaired vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards and performance specifications.
- Document all service activities, repair tasks, and parts usage accurately in the maintenance management system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment in accordance with company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely turnaround of vehicles to minimize operational downtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) or equivalent qualification in Automotive Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 1-3 years of proven experience in heavy vehicle or truck maintenance.
- Strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics and modern diagnostic software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Possession of a valid driving license (Class D or E is an added advantage).
