Responsibility
- Manage daily cash handling, including counting, verifying, and reconciling cash drawers and registers.
- Process and record all financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, with meticulous accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review.
- Monitor and maintain adequate cash reserves to meet operational needs while minimizing idle funds.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure all treasury activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support the reconciliation of bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial irregularities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing financial inquiries from staff and customers professionally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in treasury, cash management, or a similar financial role, preferably in retail or hospitality.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail operations.
