Responsibility
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making in the banking sector.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities to provide actionable insights to management.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data through regular audits and reconciliations.
- Support ad-hoc financial projects, including mergers, acquisitions, or process improvements.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS), and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Certifications such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA are advantageous.
