Responsibility
- Oversee daily toolroom operations, ensuring all equipment and molds are maintained to the highest standards.
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely tooling support and minimize downtime.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules for all toolroom equipment and molds.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to tooling and machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of toolroom activities, including maintenance logs and inventory.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement tooling improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all toolroom operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool and Die Making, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in toolroom operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of mold maintenance, tooling processes, and precision engineering.
- Experience with CNC machines, lathes, and other toolroom equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in using CAD/CAM software for tool design and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
