As a Tooling Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of tooling designs into production processes. Responsibility

  • Design and develop molds and tooling solutions for plastic automotive components.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure tooling designs meet project requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for tooling projects.
  • Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using CAD software.
  • Perform simulations and tests to validate tooling designs.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tooling-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Continuously improve tooling designs to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mold design and development.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
  • Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding processes.
  • Experience in the automotive sector is highly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
