Responsibility
- Design and develop molds and tooling solutions for plastic automotive components.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure tooling designs meet project requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for tooling projects.
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using CAD software.
- Perform simulations and tests to validate tooling designs.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tooling-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Continuously improve tooling designs to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mold design and development.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding processes.
- Experience in the automotive sector is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
