Responsibility
- Assist licensed therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Prepare therapy equipment and materials, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records under supervision.
- Provide direct support to patients during therapy sessions, including mobility assistance and exercise guidance.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the lead therapist.
- Adhere to all healthcare protocols, safety standards, and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related healthcare field.
- Prior experience as a therapy assistant or in a clinical setting is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and teams.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach with a commitment to ethical care.
- Basic knowledge of therapeutic techniques and medical terminology.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work under minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and equipment setup.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
