Responsibility
- Assist licensed therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment, ensuring a safe and clean environment for therapy sessions.
- Support patients during exercises and activities, providing encouragement and guidance as needed.
- Document patient progress and report observations to the therapy team for evaluation.
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and other physical needs under the supervision of a therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for home exercises and daily living activities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and effective treatment approach.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in a related healthcare field (e.g., Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing) is preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or therapy assistant role is an advantage but not required, as training will be provided.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and perform tasks that may require lifting or standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and therapy techniques is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other local languages is beneficial.
