Responsibility
- Assist licensed therapists in planning and executing individual and group therapy sessions for elderly residents.
- Support residents with mobility exercises, cognitive stimulation activities, and social engagement programs.
- Monitor and document residentsā progress, providing feedback to the therapy team for continuous improvement.
- Prepare therapy materials and equipment, ensuring a safe and organized environment for all activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans aligned with residentsā needs and goals.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to residents, fostering a positive and uplifting atmosphere.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions and resident participation.
- Adhere to healthcare protocols and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of residents and staff.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Healthcare, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or a related field (preferred).
- Prior experience in elderly care, rehabilitation, or a similar healthcare setting is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with elderly individuals.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care, with a commitment to improving quality of life.
- Basic knowledge of therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment for elderly care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Physical stamina to assist with mobility support and activity facilitation.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
