Responsibility
- Assist therapists in implementing personalized rehabilitation and mobility plans for residents.
- Provide support during physical therapy sessions, including exercises and mobility training.
- Monitor and document residents' progress and report any changes to the therapy team.
- Assist residents with daily activities and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment, including equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance therapy skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or elderly care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions from therapists.
- Basic knowledge of therapy techniques and equipment.
- Physical stamina to assist residents with mobility and exercises.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
