Responsibility
- Assist licensed therapists in delivering individualized therapy sessions, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, tailored to clients' needs.
- Support clients with daily living activities, mobility exercises, and therapeutic interventions under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and document clients' progress, reporting observations to the therapy team to ensure continuity of care.
- Prepare therapy equipment, treatment areas, and materials to ensure sessions run smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients and their families, fostering a positive and motivating atmosphere.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to deliver holistic care plans.
- Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about therapeutic services and promote health and well-being.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Therapy Assistance, Healthcare, Nursing, or a related field (e.g., Physiotherapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, or therapy support role (volunteer or internship experience may be considered).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Basic knowledge of therapeutic techniques, mobility aids, and adaptive equipment (training will be provided).
- Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility challenges and perform light lifting as required.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, based on clients' needs.
