Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by advising clients on over-the-counter medications, health products, and general wellness.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including stocking, organizing, and monitoring medication supplies to prevent shortages.
- Process customer transactions, handle payments, and maintain accurate records of sales and prescriptions.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, well-organized, and adheres to health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote Watsons’ health and wellness programs and campaigns.
- Stay updated on new products, promotions, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records with confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Pharmacy or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a similar role, preferably in a retail or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, dosage instructions, and basic medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in prescription handling and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with pharmacy management software (training provided).
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
