Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage inventory, including stocking, organizing, and tracking pharmaceutical supplies to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries, processing prescriptions, and offering guidance on over-the-counter medications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Process and verify insurance claims, ensuring accurate billing and minimizing discrepancies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist in the preparation of compounded medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new medications, and best practices through continuous learning and training.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Pharmacy Assistance, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting (entry-level candidates with relevant training will be considered).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medications, and dosage forms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and healthcare teams.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in dispensing medications and managing inventory.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
