Responsibility
- Diagnose and resolve complex manufacturing floor issues related to test and assembly processes to minimize downtime and defects.
- Develop and implement process improvements, including test methodologies, fixtures, and automation solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to analyze failure modes and drive root cause corrective actions (RCCA).
- Design and validate test protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., IPC, ISO) and customer specifications.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield rates, cycle times, and first-pass yields, and propose data-driven optimizations.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices for testing, troubleshooting, and equipment operation.
- Document technical findings, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and engineering change orders (ECOs) for knowledge sharing.
- Stay abreast of emerging manufacturing technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in manufacturing test engineering, preferably in electronics or precision assembly.
- Hands-on experience with test equipment (e.g., AOI, ICT, functional testers) and troubleshooting tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters).
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and PLM/MES systems is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across global teams and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a bonus.
