Responsibility

  • Diagnose and resolve complex manufacturing floor issues related to test and assembly processes to minimize downtime and defects.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, including test methodologies, fixtures, and automation solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to analyze failure modes and drive root cause corrective actions (RCCA).
  • Design and validate test protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., IPC, ISO) and customer specifications.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield rates, cycle times, and first-pass yields, and propose data-driven optimizations.
  • Train and mentor production staff on best practices for testing, troubleshooting, and equipment operation.
  • Document technical findings, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and engineering change orders (ECOs) for knowledge sharing.
  • Stay abreast of emerging manufacturing technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in manufacturing test engineering, preferably in electronics or precision assembly.
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment (e.g., AOI, ICT, functional testers) and troubleshooting tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters).
  • Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and PLM/MES systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across global teams and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a bonus.
