Responsibility
- Lead the installation, setup, and qualification of new test floor equipment to ensure full operational readiness.
- Develop and execute equipment validation protocols, including IQ (Installation Qualification), OQ (Operational Qualification), and PQ (Performance Qualification).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during equipment commissioning to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to align equipment performance with manufacturing requirements.
- Document and maintain detailed technical records, including calibration logs, test reports, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and performance checks to ensure long-term equipment stability.
- Train and mentor technicians and operators on equipment operation, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Stay updated with industry standards and emerging technologies to recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in equipment installation, qualification, or test floor operations, preferably in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or automation industries.
- Strong knowledge of equipment validation processes (IQ/OQ/PQ) and industry standards (e.g., ISO, SEMI).
- Proficiency in technical documentation, schematic reading, and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with test equipment, calibration tools, and diagnostic software.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
