Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of test engineers to execute comprehensive product validation and reliability testing.
- Develop, implement, and optimize test protocols, procedures, and automation scripts to ensure product compliance with industry standards (e.g., UL, CE, IEC).
- Oversee the design and maintenance of test equipment, ensuring accuracy, calibration, and efficiency.
- Analyze test data, identify defects, and collaborate with R&D and production teams to drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and internal testing guidelines.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, test summaries, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Stay updated on emerging testing technologies and industry trends to enhance testing capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in test engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong expertise in power supply testing, EMC/EMI compliance, and environmental stress testing.
- Proficiency in using test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, power analyzers, spectrum analyzers) and automation tools (e.g., LabVIEW, Python).
- In-depth knowledge of international safety and regulatory standards (UL, CE, FCC, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and team leadership abilities to collaborate across departments.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
