Responsibility
- Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production processes.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize plant performance, reduce downtime, and improve cost efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to local and international EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality control teams to maintain seamless supply chain operations.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to meet financial and operational targets.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including government agencies, clients, and vendors, to maintain strong business relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in plant management within the fertilizer or chemical industry.
- Proven track record in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience overseeing large, diverse teams.
- Fluency in English is required; Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations, ISO standards, and GMP practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production management software.
