Responsibility
- Lead and manage the test engineering department, ensuring alignment with company goals for productivity, quality, and yield optimization.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance testing processes, reduce defects, and improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee the design, validation, and deployment of test methodologies for semiconductor products, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Quality Assurance) to integrate best practices and innovative solutions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield rates, test cycle times, and defect rates, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor, train, and develop engineering staff to build a high-performing, technically proficient team.
- Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and capital expenditures for test equipment and tools.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in semiconductor testing and recommend adoption of new technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in semiconductor testing methodologies, including ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) programming and debugging.
- Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), yield enhancement techniques, and failure analysis.
- Experience with ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001, or other quality management systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and adapt to a multicultural work environment.
