Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology workstreams for Project Sirena, ensuring alignment with HSBC’s strategic objectives and timelines.
- Drive business automation initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization and implementing scalable tech solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, and external vendors, to define requirements and deliver high-quality outputs.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of automation tools, ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and best practice standards.
- Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and resolve bottlenecks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Champion agile methodologies and DevOps practices to accelerate innovation and improve operational efficiency.
- Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Prepare and present progress reports, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum, ITIL) are a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in technology project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role driving large-scale digital transformations.
- Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects, particularly in financial services, banking, or fintech sectors.
- Strong expertise in business process automation, RPA, AI/ML integration, or cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent understanding of agile frameworks, SDLC, and DevOps practices, with hands-on experience in tools like Jira, Confluence, or Jenkins.
- Superior stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams toward common goals.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
- Experience working in remote or distributed teams is highly desirable.
