Responsibility
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues for both guests and staff.
- Maintain and update computer systems, ensuring all software and security protocols are current.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of audiovisual equipment for meetings, events, and guest rooms.
- Monitor and resolve issues related to Wi-Fi connectivity and other network services.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and support new technology initiatives.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and procedures for future reference.
- Conduct regular system checks and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Train staff on the proper use of technology tools and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus.
- Familiarity with hospitality management systems (e.g., PMS, POS) is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
