Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end technology strategy for insurance brokerage operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory compliance.
- Spearhead the implementation, customization, and optimization of Salesforce and other SaaS platforms to streamline underwriting, claims, and client management.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data governance to safeguard sensitive client information and ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify pain points and deliver tech-driven solutions that enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Manage vendor relationships with software providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring SLAs are met for critical systems.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including automation, AI integration, and API development to modernize legacy processes.
- Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor KPIs and ROI of technology investments, providing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; Master’s or MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in IT management, with at least 2 years in insurance, fintech, or brokerage sectors.
- Proven expertise in Salesforce administration/development (certifications preferred) and hands-on experience with SaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of insurance workflows, including policy management, claims processing, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, local regulations).
- Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and training.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience managing IT budgets and resource allocation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure), cybersecurity best practices, and data analytics tools is highly desirable.
