Responsibility
- Assist senior researchers in laboratory experiments, data collection, and analysis to support biotechnology projects.
- Prepare, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and observations with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support the development and testing of new biotechnological processes or products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize workflows.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and technical documentation for stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in biotechnology and apply them to ongoing projects.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Proven experience (or strong academic background) in laboratory techniques, including PCR, gel electrophoresis, or cell culture.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety standards and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, statistical software).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or Malay is a plus.
