Responsibility
- Design, execute, and analyze complex chemical experiments and tests in compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Develop and optimize new chemical formulations, processes, and products to meet client and market demands.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, research findings, and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and quality assurance, to ensure seamless product development and scaling.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration, cleanliness, and adherence to safety regulations.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in chemistry to drive innovation within the organization.
- Mentor and train junior chemists and laboratory technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and timeline management to ensure on-time delivery of research milestones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, with a focus on research and development.
- Proven expertise in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and wet chemistry methods.
- Strong knowledge of chemical safety protocols, GMP, GLP, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets with precision.
- Proficiency in laboratory software (e.g., LIMS, ChemDraw) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English for technical documentation and team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and innovation.
